No matter if it is a new or old friendship, both can take effort, especially in an ever-changing world, but the joy that friendships can bring may make it worth the work that you need to put on it. The hardest part could be the planning on how to make new friends or reconnect with the old ones. The basic foundation of all relationship is friendship. Whether it's a relationship with your spouse, children, coworker or your neighbor, friendship will form the base of the relationship.
Making new friends can be intimidating, but it’s definitely rewarding. After all, friends form a big part of our life for most of us. They are the ones who walk through life together, share our ups and downs, and pains and joys. Without friends, life wouldn’t be the same at all. We wouldn’t be who we are if not for them.

· Go somewhere where know you’ll run them in person
· Be persistent but not over-eager
· Make contact with common friends
Friendships are our way to connect with others and establish bonds. Building friendships helps with confidence, reducing stress, learning coping skills and having a sense of belonging. Having quality friendships can help in reducing health problems such as anxiety and depression. It’s vital for our emotional well-being as well.
