Personal Mid-Year Planning

Conducting a mid-year review gives you the time and space necessary to evaluate your progress towards your goals. If you decided to create your best life and make your dreams a reality, it is time to reflect to ensure you are making the right decisions and working towards them in the right way.

In order to start your goals self-assessment, you could start with the following:

  • Make a list of what was accomplished over the past six months.

  • Make a list of new goals or challenges you’ve taken on over the past six months, as well of how much progress you’ve made on each of them.

Here are some questions that would help you to understand your current situation and guide you to readjust your goals if needed:

  • Where am I now?

  • Where am I going?

  • Do I need to update my goals?

  • Are my goals still relevant?

  • What I have achieved?

  • What can I do differently?

  • Are there new goals you would like to set for yourself?

It’s not easy to think about time and wonder where it went. However, if you decide to do a personal mid-year review, it’s a great time to reflect and make adjustments to your goals if needed. You’ll feel great when you have clarity on what your plan is for the rest of the year.
